To Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street

Well, not Mulberry Street, but this bird here was on my neighbor's mailbox. I looked out, and there he was. I ran out with the camera and got his picture before he flew off. Then I realized it was cold outside and my bare feet were not happy.

What a treat to see such a noble-looking bird. We have hawks around here, but never on the mailbox. Good job snapping the photo.

Wow! Who would have thought? As a kid I always wanted to raise falcons or hawks. They are such beautiful birds.

That was fortuitous, huh?

Since he waited for your camera and posed so nicely, he must be a ham hawk ....

Shame on you, Jane Ann! :)

They are elegant aren't they? I love that he reallys seems to be posing. Puns aside, he IS a bit of a ham.

His bare feet were probably not happy either. According to The Teachings of Don Juan, hawks are our allies and to see them like this is extremely auspicious.

Great comment, Jane Ann!!!
