It is done. I finished unloading all the boxes in my sewing room.
When I saw this stash of fabrics, my first thought was, "I cannot believe I spent all that money!" And then I thought about it. We have always been able to pay all our bills. We have always been able to feed our children and heat and air condition our home. Why shouldn't I buy fabric, if it is what I want to do? Also, it isn't like I bought all of it last year. This fabric habit has been going on since before I had kids. So, I decided not to feel guilty.
As for the 10th day of Christmas....
my sewing room gave to me...
10 empty boxes
9 shelves of fabric and on and on...

Absolutely---do not feel Guilty!
I agree with Debra - no guilt over fabric! It must feel good to have your space set up and ready to use.
Okay Super Mom! Do you want to come ove and set up my studio as nicely!!!! Sharon
Don't feel guilty-feel quilty!
Don't you know the golden rule? She who dies with the most fabric--wins!
I'd die for my own room to sew in. Good for you.
Tee hee -- what Joyce said!
I too recently had one of those "Oh MY word!" what was I thinking for buying all of that fabric feelings... (It subsided.)
& I got a head start through an inheritance & I have been to a few quilter's yard sales... (So while I have paid ahem $13 per yard on occasion - my average is far lower... & I use gift cards - am I doing a good job of rationalizing?)
No reason to feel guilty there girl! You deserved that fabric, & the room to put it in! It looks nice! & think of it as thearapy!
