I am a Hokie

I graduated from Virgina Tech 15 years ago this month. I spent a lot of time in Norris. I am very sad. And I am very mad.

I will be wearing my orange and maroon tomorrow for worldwide Orange and Maroon Effect Day.

I'm sorry. There are no other words.

For you, or anyone interested, I have no affiliation with this project (other than a knowledge of Terry and her Quilting Passion forum) but here is a Quilt Project that aims to bring comfort to the families of those lost on Monday. I don't know if it's a close, members only thing, but if you're looking for something to help heal, this might be it.

So sorry to hear you've been touched by such a tragidy. What a horrible thing.

Jules, my heart goes out to all the victims' families and to you. I don't think we can ever understand why things like this happen. It's so senseless and unnecessary--so heartbreaking.

I'm so sorry, Jules, for you and all your Virginia Tech family. Words fail.
