I am going to guess that the lie is that you are a sorority girl. (shy people probably wouldn't pledge a sorority. . .)

Ah yes....I remember all too well the prep look and those shoulder pads. I even did the short spike thing too. :o)

I worked at The Gap for a couple of years in high school, and even after that during breaks home from college. The discount back then was 40% - they wanted us to wear the clothes to work. Needless to say, I realized very little actual cash from that job!
